The political conclave will continue throughout Tuesday with a whirl of convention highlights scheduled by Casper Republican Women. Mrs. John Velous, president of I' 1 1 a' 1 Clear thinking and attention to details are necessary this day if you are to bring your work projects to happy culmination.

Others may attempt to distract you, but if you will keep your responsibilities in mind and remember that only by steady endeavor can you secure your future, you will be less likely to yield to the importunities of the frivolous. The evening hours favor quiet methods of relaxation, such as music and reading. Avoid big parties, noisy gatherings. Rea, study material; Mrs. O. L. Walker, finance; Mrs. Adeline Van Arsdale and Charlotte Snodgrass, political activity.

the local Republican Women's Club is general chairman. Serving on her convention committee are Mrs. C. R. Hocker, hairman, and Mrs.

W. A. Hocker, co-chairman. Members in charge of various phases of the convention include Mrs. John Wold, in charge of registration; Mrs.

Ernest Baker, luncheon; Mrs. C. H. Reimerth, Mrs. C.

H. Carpenter and Mrs. Cecil Bon, hostesses. Assisting with registration will be Mrs. Justin McCarthy, Mrs.

Willis Fenwick and Mrs. A. P. Lacey. Mrs.

Clyde Sessman is in charge of the "lucky number" feature. Casper delegates to the convention are the Mesdames E. E. En-terline, William Swanton, George vored and travel plans are under the most beneficent aspects. You who are engaged in business may find the year a fairly routine one, but end results should be highly satisfactory even if not as spectacular as for those engaged in the creative pursuits.

(Tribune-Herald Photo) On the luncheon agenda will be routine business, reports of officers and committees, revision of bylaws and election of officers for the ensuing two years. An address by Mrs. Ivy Priest will highlight the banquet program Tuesday night. Delegates from all major cities in Wyoming are expected to be in attendance. kindnesses extended her during her illness. Mrs. Hoffman played an active part in the development of Use Tribune-Herald Want Ads of nursing education in Scandinavian countries for one year. The fellowship entitles her to all expenses for a year. She will arrive in Oslo, Norway, June 27.

Miss Moriarty, who made many friends in Casper, has a charming personality and is certain to prove a splendid representative of the United States and of her profession wherever she may be. She was intensely interested in the new Wyoming students of nursing program which substitutes college training for the work program in nurses' training, improving the course while shortening it by several months. Miss Moriarty is well known in Denver also, particularly in the medical center of the University of Colorado. Miss Honora Moriarty, former director of the Division of Nursing at Casper Junior College, serving in that capacity a year ago, has been made assistant professor of the School of Nursing in the University of Washington, at Seattle. Miss Moriarty has been awarded a fellowship from the Department of State under the Fulbright Act, as a part of the educational exchange program of the U.

S. Government. The objectives of this program are to promote better understanding of the United States abroad, and to increase mutual understanding between people -of the United States and people of other countries. She leaves in June for Norway to conduct a research study the children's activities as well as the beautification of North Casper. Mrs.

Anna. Ferrel was also active in this work. Both members are over 80 years of age. It was reported that the Girl Scouts have started to improve the grounds donated to them from the park. It is hoped that the grounds will be ready for use for the over night camping and day camp to be held in the near future.

North Casper Association Has Meeting The North Casper Association met Tuesday evening at the North Casper Club House for a regular business meeting with Mrs. Burr Stevens, president, presiding. Mr.

Kenneth Kurtz of the Youth Recreation Center expressed the need for baseballs and bats for his boys' program this summer. The association voted to help furnish the needed equipment. A communication from the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Company was read expressing the desire to show their special program designed to acquaint the public with the oil industry. It was decided to request the "Development of an FIig American- Letter" (A Dance Drama) at N.GH.S. Auditorium rjlonday, lay 18 8 P.M.
