Friday, April 6, 1990 George Roland Peterson CALENDAR 3 pi Margaret Sundby Cordiner Men's fellowship banquet tonight CASPER Casper geologist Carl Wolosin will be guest speaker at Friday's public banquet of the Casper Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship. Wolosin will discuss the dramatic change in his life when he became a Christian. The banquet, which is open to the public, will begin at 6:45 p.m. at the Lanai Restaurant. Tickets are $8 each and can be purchased at the Galilean Bookstore at Eastridge Mall.

He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Samuelson and Rita Laird, both of Casper, and Sue Wedding of Washington; two sons, Raymond Peterson of Colorado Springs, and Scott Williams of Oregon; two sisters, Thelma Sending of Portland, and Ethel Cook of Casper; three brothers, Bud and Ted Peterson, both of Casper, and Harold Peter-son of Oregon; eight grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, one granddaughter and one grandson. The casket will be open for viewing all day Sunday until 7:30 p.m. Memorials to the Blue Envelope Health Fund are suggested by the family and may be left at Memorial Chapel.

LARAMIE Memorial services for former Laramie resident Margaret Sundby Cordiner, 89, who died April 5, 1990, in Goldsboro, N.C., after a long illness, will be announced later. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery in Laramie. Mrs. Cordiner was born Aug. 5, 1900, in Grand Forks, N.D.

In 1912 the family moved to Centennial, where her parents operated the Mountain View Hotel in Centennial for many years. She graduated from Laramie High School and attended the University of Wyoming, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She later received nurses' training at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. On Sept. 13, 1924, she married Frank B.

Cordiner and they lived in Laramie. In 1937, they moved to. Cheyenne, where her husband was Mary B. NEWCASTLE Services for Mary B. Varick, 54, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m.

at the McColley Chapel in Newcastle by Rev. Gene Hagerman of the Newcastle First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Varick died April 4, 1990, at Weston County Memorial Hospital in Newcastle after a long illness.

She was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Hot Springs, S.D., to Gordon and Marguerite (Clarke) Smith. She was raised on the family ranch east of Buffalo Gap, S.D., and attended Buffalo Gap High School. On March 14, 1968, she married Robert C. Varick at Hot Springs.

Mrs. Varick was employed as a nurse's aide at the Hot Springs Veterans Administration Hospital and the Sisters Hospital until moving to Newcastle in 1968, where she work CASPER Graveside services for George Roland Peterson, 72, will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at Memo rial Gardens Cemetery by Rev, Roger Hawthorne of Winter Memorial Presbyterian Church. Mr, Peterson died April 4, 1990. at Wvo- PETERSON ming Medical Center in Casper.

He was born March 23, 1918, in Napanee, to George and Iowa (Stowe) Peterson; when he was a child the family moved to Casper. Mr. Peterson was a steel worker and, helped in the construction of many of the downtown Casper buildings. He also had served in the U.S. Navy.

On Aug. 17, 1940, in Casper, he Joseph A. CASPER Services for Joseph A. Urbigkit, 32, will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at the Bustard Funeral Home by Rev.

George Massingale of North Casper Baptist Church. Burial will be in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery with military honors accorded by the United Veterans Council. Mr. Urbigkit died April 4, 1990, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper after an illness of two weeks. He was born Sept.

29, 1957, in Lander to Albert T. and Eleanor Urbigkit. As a small child, he moved with his family to Casper, where he was raised and attended Dean Morgan Junior High School and Kelly Walsh High School. In 1975 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.

She is survived by four children, Frank of Casper, David of Houston, Texas, William of Fort Collins, and Martha Benedict of Goldsboro; one brother, Oliver Sundby of Laramie; 10 grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include three sons, Richard and Gordon, both of Hermiston, and Michael of Torrington; three daughters, Susan Midland of Irrigon, Nikki Baher of Hermiston, and Jennifer Baher of Torrington; and three stepsons, Chuck Bloom of Fort Carson, Kevin Bloom of Laramie and Dan Bloom of Torrington. He also is survived by his father, Bud Baher of Anacortes, his mother, Jeannie Hudson of Bellevue, his grandmother, Catherine Baher and half-brother, Randall Baher, both of Anacortes; a brother, Paul Baher of Vancouver, a half-brother, James Baher of Omak, and four grandchildren. Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Laue Club and Order of Eastern Star. She was a Past Matron and Grand Representative of Wyoming to South Carolina for Riverton OES Chapter No. 21. She was an avid sports fan and was a member of the Cowboy Joe Club. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards.

She is survived by two sons, David Cory of Kimball, and Phil Laue of Riverton; four daughters, Sherry DeNovellis of Sidney, Karen Cory of Riverton, Vicky Painter of Denver, and Fran Laue of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association would be equally appreciated by the family. Mr. Minckler died March 30, 1990, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento after a short illness of cancer. He was born March 29, 1948, in Petaluma, Calif. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Baher died April 4, 1990, at Torrington Community Hospital. He was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Bismarck, N.D., to Bud and Jean-nie (Fairman) Baher.

The family moved to Washington, where he was reared, educated and graduated from Coupeville High School. Mr. Baher was a truck driver and worked mainly around the Seattle and Walla Walla, areas. He came to Torrington in 1985 and worked for Torrington Cement until moving to Cheyenne, where he was employed as a line driver for Consolidated Freightlines, Inc. He retired on disability in 1988 and returned to Torrington.

Laue died April 4, 1990, in Riverton after a long illness. She was born April 13, 1927, in Wichita, to Will and Joella Croy. She had lived in Laramie as a child and graduated from Laramie High School. On Jan. 24, 1972, in Nevada, she married Gene Laue, who preceded her in death on Nov.

13, 1989. Mrs. Laue owned and operated the West Drive-In Theater in River-ton.
