August 31, 2004 Casper Star-Tribune B3 OBITUARIES Elbert Bryant Brock CASPER Memorial services for Casper resident Elbert Bryant Brock, 78, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today, Aug. 31, at Central Wyoming Senior Center by Pastor Mark McLagan of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. He died Aug. 29, 2004, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home, from complications of heart surgery.

Born June 18, 1926, in Verda, he was the son of Edgar Robert and Barbara Melinda (Wilson) Brock. He served i in the U.S. Navy for two years as a signalman, second class, during World War II; and was in the Reserves for eight years. In January 1951, he married Bobbie Womack in Jonesboro, La. They divorced in 1995.

He was an equipment operator for Big Horn Construction for 30 years and retired in 1989; and also worked for Wyoming Machinery. On July 12, 2000, he married Karen A. Brannon in Casper. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and playing guitar with his cousins. He sang with the Meadowlarks for nearly five years and was Helen M.

Dolenc CASPER Services for Casper resident Helen M. Dolenc, 87, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home and Crematory by Fr. Ken Kinner.

Interment will be in Wyoming Memorial Gardens at a later date. She died Aug. 28, 2004, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Paradise Valley. Born Jan. 31, 1917, in Lead, S.D., she was the daughter of Maude and Emil Racich, who worked in the Homestake Mines.

In 1918, the family moved to Casper, where she was raised. She attended Jefferson and Washington elementary schools and graduated from Natrona County High School in 1934. She then worked for Kyner Insurance Agency and part-time as elevator operator in the old Wyoming National Bank Building. In 1936, she went to work as a secretary for Stanolind Oil and Gas now Amoco, and retired in 1965. On Sept.

7, 1946, she married Frank Dolenc at Saviour's Lutheran Church and loved to hug the ladies, work in his garden and with wood, and watch sports on television. Survivors include his beloved wife of Casper; two sons, Reginald E. Brock of Gillette and Barry G. Brock of Casper; daughter, Carol A. Nye of Elko, stepson, Chad Brannon of Casper; stepdaughter, Kris Reeves, and her family of Tucson, two sisters, Esther L.

Hale of Monroe, and Evelyn L. Guinn of Shreveport, brother, R.B. Brock of Calvin, seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rita; and a brother, R.W. Brock.

Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. president of the Challengers, a volunteer at the senior center, a senior companion, and respite care provider. She enjoyed collecting antiques, cookbooks and Hummel figurines; reading; and needlepointing. Survivors include her sister, Ruby Evers, and brother, Frank Racich, both of Casper; and many 1 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gary, in 1974; her husband in 1999, after 53 years of marriage; three sisters, Tillie Racich, Lillian Dvorak and Dorothy Koch; and a brother, Tom Racich. Thompson CODY Services for Cody resident Virginia W. Thompson, 77, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, at Cody Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Ballard Funeral Home in Cody. She died Aug. 27, 2004, at her home, after a lengthy illness. Born Aug.

13, 1927, in Billings, she was the daughter of Retla and Henry Westerman; was raised on the family homestead on the Northfork; and attended Wapiti School. She graduated from Cody High School and Park Business School in Denver. On Jan. 18, 1946, she married David "Dave" Thompson. The family moved to various construction sites in Wyoming and returned to Cody in 1956.

The couple Albert Lewis Jarisch CASPER Funeral services for Casper resident Albert Lewis Jarisch, 75, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory by Pastor Mike Cooper of College Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with military graveside rites accorded by Natrona County United Veterans Council. He died Aug.

29, 2004, at Wyoming Medical Center. Born Jan. 4, 1929, in Midwest, he was the son of Fritz R. and Elizabeth (Otto) Jarisch; and was raised and educated there. During the Korean War, he served in the U.S.

Army. He graduated from Coyn Electrical School in Chicago and retired as a journeyman electrician. On Nov. 8, 1972, he married Maxine Albertson Forbis in Buffalo. The couple moved to Casper in 1993.

He enjoyed gem-cutting, woodworking, being outdoors and in his home, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 31 years of Casper; two sons and their wives, Alan Forbis of Columbia, and Brent Forbis of Casper; brother, Paul Jarisch of Santa Barbara, sister, Lucille Whitlock of Casper; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. William P. 'Bill' Perkins Perkins where he was a police officer for 21 years until retiring in 1979, at the rank of sergeant, in the juvePERKINS nile narcotics division.

The couple then returned to Casper and he was manager of the Elks Lodge for several years. The last five years, he managed the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Mills. He enjoyed gardening and history, especially reading about the exploits of Gen. George Armstrong Custer. Survivors include two daughters, LaDona Narr of Torrance, and Kathy Perkins of Mills; five grandchildren; and a greatgranddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on June 18, 1999, after 46 years of marriage; and two brothers, James and Max Perkins. Memorials may be made to Jason's Friends Foundation, 111 S. Durbin Casper, WY 82601. Wilma 'Willie' Heiserman Robinson THERMOPOLIS A celebration of the life of Thermopolis resident Wilma "Willie" Heiserman Robinson, 61, will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.

1, in the Terrace Shelter of Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis. Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. She died Aug.

27, 2004, at her home. Born Feb. 24, 1923, in Powell, she was the daughter of John and Montana (Asay) Lohrenz; graduated from Powell High School in 1961; and attended Parks School of Business in Denver in 1962. From 1983 to 1985, she majored in English and had a 4.0 grade point average at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colo. 31, 1923, in Casper, she was the daughter of William and Margaret E. (Speas) Rae; and, at age 5, moved to Aruba with her family. She spent the next 50 years on the island, interrupted only when she attended Lindenwood College in Missouri. On Nov. 28, 1947, she married Peter Storey.

They spent their married life in Aruba, raising their family and traveling to England, Europe, South America, and Wyoming; then retired to the family ranch in Wyoming. Olive L. 'Jerri' CASPER Services for Casper resident Olive L. "Jerri" Page, 84, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept.

2, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home and Crematory by members of the Order of Eastern Star No. 4. Cremation will take place. She died Aug. 29, 2004, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Paradise Valley.

While on the island, she was an active member of the Community Church, Girl Scouts, and Aruba STOREY Golf and Tennis clubs. She enjoyed traveling, baking, playing golf, reading, and watching tennis and baseball. Survivors include three daughters and their husbands, Susan Hunter of Casper, Gail Zuckerman of Livingston, N.J., and Patricia Morton of Gulfport, four grandsons; and two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a brother, Neal Rae. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to Jason's Friends Foundation, Meals on Wheels, or a charity of the donor's choice.

CASPER Services for Casper resident William P. "Bill" Perkins, 73, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, in the Casper Stake Center, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Wolf Creek by Bishop Clark Jensen. Cremation will take place under the direction of Newcomer Family Funeral Home and inurnment will be in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.

He died Aug. 28, 2004, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home. Born March 27, 1931, in Mabank, Texas, he was the son of Buell and Agnes (Beery) Perkins; and was raised and educated in Casper. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1950. On Sept.

3, 1952, he married Jeanette Spawn in Casper. He served in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he was a police officer in Casper. In the late 1950s, the family moved to Los Angeles, Page Born Jan.

Herrington CASPER Services for Casper resident Annette L. Herrington, 88, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. Bill Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Survivors include her husband, Bruce, of Thermopolis; two sons, Michael Heiserman of Pennsylvania and Mitch Heiserman of Texas; mother, Shirley Schultz of Yuma, four sisters, Jana Lohrenz of Yuma, Kay Christofferson of Shoshoni. Jean Stevens of Salt Lake City and Judy Lind of Alaska; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gary G. Heiserman.
