Thomas Seabeck passed from our presence and entered into the peace and joy of heaven on March 16, 2014, after a 35 year- long battle with Parkinson's disease. Tom's business, City Plumbing and Heating, was continued from his father, Ed, and was active from the late 1940's. Tom served in the Army in 1957- 59 following the Korean War. He returned from Korea and worked on the Sinclair Refinery in Rawlins and in construction in Las Vegas. Tom returned to Casper to help his father in the business and became a Master Plumber.

He had several rental properties that he enjoyed remodeling. Tom played golf, hunted, danced, fished and bowled in his spare time, and he was very good at all of them! Tom met Doris Arneson in Casper and they married in 1985. Doris and Tom enjoyed dancing two to three times a week to live music at various clubs around Casper. Tom continued to walk, golf, fish, bowl, hunt and dance for many years following his diagnosis. He and Doris were active in, made friends and learned management techniques for the disease in the local Parkinson's Support Group.

Thomas Edwin Seabeck was born to Edwin and Isabel Seabeck in Casper, Wyoming on January 9, 1934. as he was known in the family, was the third of five children, Patricia, Marilyn, Raymond and Robert. Ray and Bob survive Tom. Doris passed into her rest on February 8, 2013. In addition to his two brothers, Tom is survived by sister-in-laws, Lauretta and Diana; and fifteen nieces and nephews.

Tom and Doris were always friendly and outgoing. The coffee pot was always on, and they enjoyed the friendship of a wide circle of friends and family. Tom's positive attitude, active lifestyle and medications helped him have a high quality of life for many years, despite his disease. His family and friends honor his cheerful personality, kind heartedness, generosity, gentle nature and sense of humor. We will miss Uncle and Brother Tom very much.

A Funeral Service will be held for Tom on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Newcomer Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
